Assistant Manager – Holidays in Sheboygan

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees.

  • Managers may be asked to work odd hours or come in on short notice due to business conditions
  • Ensure that the bar and basement inventory is stocked and organized at all times by all employees when starting shifts and holding them accountable if not done
  • To ensure guest drinks are prepared and served according to company standards
  • To be involved in the setting of service and quality standards, and to monitor and strive for their achievement
  • To monitor, anticipate and react to customer needs consistently to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
  • To build positive relationships with clients/guests to ensure customer satisfaction
  • To ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the bars
  • To lead team by example
  • To coach individual team members to develop their skills and maximize performance
  • To give clear direction and guidelines to team members including policies, product knowledge and any other pertinent information
  • To ensure appearance of team members is according to company policy
  • To assist in ensuring that the department complies with all statutory and legal requirements, including fire, Health and Safety, licensing and employment
  • To ensure staff awareness of relevant company policies
  • Monitoring and counting inventory monthly
  • Assist with generating promotional events and items and follow thru with employees making sure they are promoting said events
  • Be available to work odd hours and on short notice due to business situations including up to 40hrs per week including nights and weekends
  • Must be trained in the kitchen and to work efficiently on one station
  • Work at least two night shifts as a Floor Manager
